Before You Decide

Yes. Trace Vault is officially Apple MFi Certified, the same certification AirTag goes through, so it keeps working reliably through future iOS updates. It works across your whole Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, and Mac), entirely through Apple's own Find My network, no extra app needed.

How to use

Three
simple steps.

Pair it → Place it → Find it.

Pair it

Hold the card close to your iPhone and tap once.

No app to install. It's ready in seconds.

Place it

Slip it into anything you don't want to lose.

It stays out of sight until you need it.

Find it

Open Find My to see it on the map in real time.

Close by? Play a sound to pinpoint it, even through a bag.

The thinking

The one
we couldn't find.

Every tracker we tried made the same trade. Either it looked like a tracker — obvious, easy to spot, easy to throw away — or it worked only as long as you kept paying a monthly fee.

So we made the one we couldn't find. A card thin enough to vanish into a wallet, quiet enough to go unnoticed, and built to keep working forever without a subscription.

Designed to stay hidden

Designed to
disappear.

It looks like an ordinary (credit) card. An obvious tracker gets spotted, removed, and thrown away. This one gives nothing away — so it keeps working long after a wallet or bag has left your hands. The less it looks like a tracker, the longer it stays one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing left
unanswered.

Sorted by topic. If something's still unclear after this, we're one email away.

No, and that's the point. At just 1.8mm thin, it's the slimmest tracking card in the world, the same footprint as a credit card, so it looks like a regular card, not a tracking device. Designed to stay hidden in plain sight, in your wallet or bag.

Yes, officially. It's reviewed, approved, and registered directly by Apple to meet their performance, compatibility, and security standards, the same certification process AirTag itself goes through.

No. Trace Vault runs on the same Find My network as every other Apple-compatible tracker, which includes built-in anti-stalking protection. If a tracker separates from its owner and travels with someone else for an extended period, that person's iPhone automatically alerts them, and Android users can check with Apple's free Tracker Detect app. Since you'll normally be with your own belongings, this doesn't affect everyday use.

None, ever. Lifetime tracking with a simple one-time purchase. Trace Vault runs entirely on Apple's free, built-in Find My network, so there are no ongoing costs of any kind.

Up to 5 months on a single charge. It's rechargeable via Qi-certified wireless charging, so you recharge it again and again, no need to ever replace the card. A built-in LED indicator shows charging progress, and you'll get a low-battery alert sent to your phone before it runs out.

A single card doesn't include a charger, it's sold separately. Our 5-card bundle includes a complimentary wireless charger. You can also use any Qi-certified charger you already own, though we recommend our own Trace Vault charger for best performance.

Yes. Trace Vault uses a low-capacity lithium battery (under 1 Wh), well within standard international airline allowances. A small number of airlines restrict active tracking devices specifically, though this is uncommon, so we'd recommend a quick check of your airline's current policy before you travel.

Yes. It's IP67 certified, meaning it's protected from dust and can handle being submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. Everyday spills, rain, and accidental drops in water are all covered.

Yes. It's engineered to coexist with RFID-blocking materials, so your cards stay protected while your wallet stays trackable through Apple's Find My network.

Yes. You can add as many Trace Vault cards as you like to your Find My app, making it easy to track your wallet, backpack, luggage, or any other essentials separately.

Yes. Within the Find My app, you can give each Trace Vault card its own custom name, like "Wallet" or "Travel Bag," making it easy to keep track of multiple cards at a glance.

Yes. Each card comes individually packaged in its own box with a quick-start guide and manual, so it's ready to give as a gift straight out of the box. If you order multiple cards, each one arrives separately packaged, making it easy to keep one and gift the rest.
